thx for posting Tarun, i forgot about that "fear" theme in Apocalypto, it's true that without fear a person is truly free

Love this beautiful story telling and what i think it means about the hole is the mans eyes of curiousness of what he does not know he will try to find the answer and "what he cannot find in himself" he will have fear and sadness inside

I love this story! But is this a real legend or did they make this up for the movie? If it's real, can someone tell me the name of the legend?
